This key leadership position will work closely with Sales Leadership and Sales Operations to ensure appropriate administration of sales incentive plans. This includes partnering with various departments to establish processes, procedures, and adequate controls around the administration and governance of all incentive plans for the company. This position will also be responsible for working with the technology team provide flawless execution of quarterly sales incentive programs.

The Incentive Compensation Manager should be an expert in all aspects of the sales incentive programs, acting as a consultant for our Sales leaders and employees to ensure understanding and build trust. The sensitive nature of this role requires the utmost attention to detail and business maturity. This role should partner closely with cross-functional teams that support the commission programs including Finance, Sales Operations, Digital Technology, and Human Resources.

How You’ll Create Possibilities

Essential Responsibilities

Responsible for providing support in the design & creation of sales compensation plans to drive strategic initiatives & support company objectives.

  • Create compensation models, sensitivity analysis, and statistical analysis to determine program effectiveness.
  • Drive the development of sales compensation communication materials for multiple sales groups, talent acquisition, and necessary HR Partners.

Oversee the administration of all sales incentive plans:

  • Partner with Incentive Compensation administrators to verify correct and timely calculations of incentive payments & communication.
  • Work with Finance and Sales leadership to verify targets/baselines are established & communicated to the sales team.

Partner closely with the Technology team to serve as a super-user for Oracle Incentive Compensation System.

  • Validate & reconcile system data and set up.
  • Simplify existing incentive system; develop and disseminate robust standard operating procedures.
  • Lead enhancements & administration process improvement for Oracle Incentive Compensation (OIC).
  • Manage projects and implementation of new plans in OIC.
  • Participate with Sales Operations to ensure operational effectiveness.
  • Make sure all the programs and calculations are set up correctly.

What You’ll Bring to Our Team

Minimum Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in one or more of the following areas: Compensation, Sales Compensation, finance and/or data analytics
  • 3-5 years working with compensation technology, Preferably Oracle Incentive Compensation
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; must be able to effectively communicate and build trust at all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to streamline and simplify existing processes and procedures.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
  • Advanced Excel skills including formulas and macros and ability to analyze large amounts of data.
  • Demonstrated quantitative skills.
  • Proven business maturity with a strong compliance mind-set; must be discrete and able to maintain confidentiality.
  • Possess excellent time management, prioritization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Results oriented; ability to deliver on commitments and follow through.

Desired Characteristics/Qualifications

  • Certified Sales Compensation Professional (CSCP)
  • Prior experience managing variable compensation plans.
  • Prior experience with financial reporting and/or analyzing financial data.
  • Project management experience
