Expanding at a rapid pace, Gopuff is seeking to hire a Manager, Compensation to join the People+Culture Team.  This individual contributes to the company’s performance by leading the Global Compensation function to deliver equitable and competitive pay programs that attract key talent and reward performance. The successful candidate is customer-obsessed, a change agent who thrives in a fast-paced environment, and has strong relationship-building skills combined with effective listening and communication skills. This role will report directly to the Director, Total Rewards.

You Will:

    • Owns full life cycle of conducting job analysis, evaluation and salary administration to determine competitive salary grades/ranges based on internal and external equity for all corporate and field roles (e.g., entry level, part time/full time, exempt/nonexempt, executive)
    • Lead analytical projects, including merit, promotion and bonus cycles.
    • Develop analytical summaries, reports, and presentations, and make recommendations and presentations to stakeholders
    • Collaborate with internal P&C Leadership (HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition Leaders) to ensure that all compensation practices and standards are aligned with company objectives and directives.
    • Conduct analysis and support integration of employees of acquired companies
    • Monitor for all necessary compliance requirements across all locations
    • Proactively recommend compensation process improvements
    • Complete compensation survey submission process
    • Review compensation survey results and proactively provide the analysis of market trend and recommendations for any changes in our structure or individual adjustments based on the data
    • Conduct total rewards market research and analytic projects

You Have:

    • A minimum of 5 years experience in compensation and 2 years of leadership experience
    • Knowledge of compensation principles, practices, incentives, equity, job evaluation methodologies
    • Must be detail oriented with strong analytical skills and be able to present analytical data in an easily understandable format
    • Strong technical knowledge of Excel/Google Sheets required, including development of spreadsheets with advanced formulas, functions, pivot tables, lookups, index/match
    • Must be able to work in a fast-paced, changing environment and be able to use independent judgment in new and challenging situations
    • Ability to work independently, prioritize and manage time effectively
    • Customer service attitude toward internal clients (e.g., finance, leadership, HR business partners, talent acquisition teams)
    • Ability to handle confidential information with high degree of discretion
    • Ability to work cross functionally with various departments
    • CCP certification a plus
    • Familiarity with HCM or HRIS systems (Workday)


    • Gopuff pays employees based on market pricing and pay may vary depending on your location. The salary range below reflects what we’d reasonably expect to pay candidates. A candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. These ranges may be modified in the future. For additional information on this role’s compensation package, please reach out to the designated recruiter for this role.
    • Salary Range (varies based on a cost of labor index for geographic area within United States): USD $91,200 – USD $144,900
