Job Summary and Qualifications

As a Physician Compensation Coordinator, you will be responsible for the management and administration of the electronic Personnel Action Request (PAR) log for provider payments to ensure accurate and timely payments, preparing the documentation for the Physician overpayment recovery, and the database management of the Physician contracts.

What you will do in this role:

  • Analysis and review of all provider payments in electronic PAR log for completeness, compliance with employment agreements/offer letters, and appropriate approvals. Data entry into PAR log as required.
  • Prepare reports, including ad hoc reports, related to PAR log activity and status.
  • Assist with future phase buildouts of electronic PAR log as well as day-to-day administration of the system.
  • Prepares all documentation for overpayment recovery, to include coordination with payroll, accounting, and practice personnel in order to provide the accurate recovery amount as well as recovery letter for distribution to provider. Maintains files with documentation of recovery efforts to track completion of overpayment recovery.
  • Prepare reports, including ad hoc reports, regarding overpayment recovery status for accounting and PSG leadership.
  • Physician employment contract management
  • Frequent communication both verbally and in writing with multiple departments and executive personnel within PSG.
  • Initiates and maintains strong working relationships to ensure the effective delivery of quality service to all stakeholders.

What qualifications you will need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or another business-related field preferred. Equivalent job experience may be considered with comprehensive references.
  • Three to five years’ experience in provider payment coordination preferred.
  • Payroll experience is a plus.
  • Successful experience working with cross- functional teams and effectively communicating with all levels of leadership.
