Position Summary:

The Analyst II, Compensation role is responsible for evaluating job positions to ensure the company is competitive in the areas of salaries and total rewards. The position will contribute to global people analytics & compensation projects and initiatives, and serves as a consultant to business partners and managers. This position will work in a highly collaborative environment to gather data and insights, perform analysis, create dashboards, and support our ability to make strategic and informed decisions.


  • Uses published, or conducts ad hoc, surveys to obtain and analyze market pay rates. Makes recommendations on appropriate pay grade level. Reviews recommendations within NeoGenomics’ context for internal equity. Prepares reports on findings and handles administrative steps to formalize recommendations.
  • Completes annual compensation surveys to benchmark jobs, benefits and salary data.
  • Provides guidance and assistance building job profiles and grading, and maintains job profiles and position management within Workday.
  • Utilizes Excel and other tools to analyze and manipulate data to independently perform compensation analyses and calculations.
  • Reviews new positions in anticipation of recruitment to ensure appropriate classification. Reviews job position descriptions and analyzes for classification and leveling.
  • Provides analytical support and data analysis on projects and human resource metrics.
  • Contributes to the successful execution of all core compensation programs.
  • Provides solutions for compensation process automation utilizing Workday.

Experience & Required Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree from four-year university
  • Minimum 3 years of combined experience in Compensation.
  • CCP Preferred
  • Highly preferred Workday experience with Core Compensation & Advanced Compensation modules, VIBE & People Analytics.
  • MarketPay & Workday expereince preferred.
  • Strict confidentiality and data integrity required.
  • Highly proficient in Excel with a solid knowledge of formulas and model building; and proficient in PowerPoint for executive and board level deck preparation.
  • Extensive knowledge of quantitative and qualitative research methods.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of human resource laws, regulations and best practices.
  • Ability to interpret policies, practices, procedures and laws – Federal, State, and local rules, regulations and/or statutes.

Pay Range (will vary based on location & experience) $68,000.00 – $122,400.00 Plus Bonus
