Summary:
The Sr. Analyst is responsible for managing the compensation function for the company. The Compensation Analyst plans, develops and implements new and revised compensation programs, policies, and procedures to align with the company’s goals and competitive practices. This position is also responsible for ensuring that company compensation programs are consistently administered in compliance with internal policies and government regulations.
What you’ll do as our next Sr. Compensation Analyst:
Maintain and contribute to a safe work environment by adhering to policies and procedures as outlined in the Company Safety Program.
- Serves as an internal consultant as it relates to compensation programs to meet the needs of the organization.
- Manages CompAnalyst, compensation tool, which includes uploading and building out the compensation structure, maintaining employee data, and frequently reviewing analytics to provide business insights and recommendations.
- Design compensation packages and bonus programs that align with the company’s strategic plan and adhere to principles of continuous improvement.
- Ensure salaries comply with the current legislation about human rights and pay equity
- Manages the administration of compensation programs, processes, and operations.
- Manages preparation and delivery of communication and education materials for compensation programs.
- Identify trends and implement new practices to engage and motivate employees.
- Monitors the effectiveness of compensation programs, policies, guidelines, and procedures, and recommends revisions or new plans that are cost-effective and consistent with the compensation strategy and philosophy.
- Keep track of prevailing benchmarking data and pay rates and ensure we offer competitive compensation plans.
- Participates in the job evaluation program oversight including the job evaluation process, the development, and maintenance of formal job grades and salary ranges, job analysis, and the preparation of written job descriptions. Including and recommending FLSA designations.
- Participates in salary surveys and oversight of global salary survey strategies, and in the collection and analysis of survey data to determine the competitiveness of compensation programs.
- Perform any other task or assignment as deemed necessary by the organization.

Minimum Requirements for our next Sr. Compensation Analyst:
- Five years of related experience in a dedicated total rewards or compensation role.
- Experience working in a large, dynamic and matrixed organization.
Preferred Qualifications for the Sr. Compensation Analyst:
- Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) (completed or in progress)
- Other recognized HR certification
- Experience with designing sales compensation plans
- Experience with harmonizing compensation plans
