Summary of Job Descriptions:

This role is a senior role that is onsite in Rosemead, CA; a hybrid role (onsite 3 days/remote 2 days). The Senior HR CompensationAnalyst position is responsible for assisting in the development, implementation, and administration of the company’s Operations compensation programs. This position administers the Operations bonuses, the performance evaluation process and the merit pay program. The position also works on improving Operations bonus processes, including automation and preparing presentations to leadership on proposed changes to the Operations bonus programs. The Senior Compensation/Finance Analyst will perform benchmarking analysis and provide financial & people analytics.

You’ll get a chance to:

  • Assist in the development, implementation, and administration of the company’s Operations base pay program.
  • Support the Operations focal point compensation review process.
  • Conduct compensation analyses to assist in updating the Operations base pay structure.
  • Administer the Operations bonus programs and contributes to enhancing their design.
  • Participate in preparing presentations on proposed changes to the bonus programs for leadership to achieve more effective program design.
  • Assist in enhancing the Operations compensation processes.
  • Work with IS on automating the Operations bonus process and implementing reporting systems & dashboard reporting.
  • Assist in updating the Operations base pay structure on an annual basis based on the results of competitive analyses using specialized chain restaurant survey.
  • Administer base pay increases for Operations management associates.
  • Assist with the preparation of communications on Operations compensation administration guidelines for distribution to associates to ensure understanding and appreciation of the company’s compensation and pay increase program.
  • Conduct ad hoc analysis and provides metrics, analytics, & recommendations on the compensation and bonus programs.
  • Conduct market research to ensure minimum wage compliance with state and federal requirements.
  • Assist the Compensation Team in updating pay rates when new minimum wage laws go into effect.
  • Monitor compensation trends and best practices, formulating recommendations for changes to compensation programs to reflect the most effective practices or to create most efficient processes.

Your background & experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; CCP certification or equivalent preferred.
  • Minimum five years of experience in HR or Finance, with at least three years in Compensation preferred.
  • Obtaining a valid Food Handler’s Card within 30 days of employment is a requirement of this position.
  • If hired, successful completion of annual store training
  • If hired, must provide proof of full vaccination on your start date, unless prohibited by federal, state, or local law. Full vaccination means two weeks or more have passed after receiving the second dose in a two-dose series, or more than two weeks after receiving a single-dose vaccine. Examples of proof of full vaccination include an original, photocopied, or digital completed vaccination card which includes your name, type of vaccine provided, and date last dose administered.

Pay Range P3s: $80,500 – $113,000 / Annual
* Within the range, individual pay is determined using various factors, including work location and experience.
