Position Summary:
The Compensation Analyst assists with the development, implementation, and administration of Reyes Holdings compensation programs. This position is responsible for conducting job evaluations, participating in salary surveys, and will assist with the annual merit and bonus process. This role requires critical and analytical thinking to enable the organization as it scales, while also being able to execute and implement programs with hands-on responsibility.
Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:
- Maintain job structure, salary administration guidelines, and process
- Participate in compensation surveys on behalf of Reyes Holdings
- Conduct research and analysis on market competitiveness, pay equity, industry standards, and compensation trends
- Review survey results and proactively provide the analysis of market trends and recommendations
- Support annual Merit and Bonus Rewards Cycle including data inquires and reporting
- Conduct job evaluations of positions and application of FLSA classifications
- Maintains compensation data within HRIS and other related platforms
- Conduct in-depth data analysis of compensation data and develop actionable insights
- Resolve HR Support tickets assigned to Compensation department related to job evaluations, market analysis, compensation processes and data issues
- Apply quantitative and qualitative analysis to identify opportunities, develop hypotheses, and recommend solutions
- Other projects or duties as assigned
Required Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, HR, or Finance
- 3-4+ years of experience in Compensation or HR Analytics
- Experience with compensation management software such as Payscale/Payfactors, Salary.com, Workday, or UKGPro
- Knowledge of data analytical tools such as PowerBI or Tableau
- Data-driven mentality and high attention to detail
- Outstanding analytical, mathematical and problem-solving skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Word and PowerPoint
- Excellent oral and written communication skills; experience interacting effectively with leadership
- High level of integrity and professionalism with the ability to manage confidential employee data
- Team player with the ability to be proactive, responsive and customer focused with demonstrated experience effectively collaborating across the Enterprise
- Ability to organize, set priorities, be self-motivated, and can learn independently
- Ability to travel up to 10%
- This position must pass a post-offer background and drug test
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- PHR or Certified Compensation Professional (CCP)
- SQL experience
- California wage and hour regulations
