Our Position
The Compensation Analyst plans, develops, and implements new and revised compensation programs, policies, and procedures to align with the company’s goals and competitive practices. This position is also responsible for ensuring that company compensation programs are consistently administered in compliance with internal policies and government regulations.

Your Responsibilities
- Manages the development, implementation, and administration of RI International’s compensation program including creating salary grading, smart job codes, etc. Ensures the effectiveness of existing compensation practices and recommends changes that are cost-effective and consistent with compensation trends, best practices, and to improve corporate objectives.
- Utilizes the 4 Pillars of Compensation (Market Position, Pay Mix, Segmentation, and Geo Strategies) to determine correct salary range for each position.
- Develops techniques for compiling, preparing, and presenting compensation trends and data in a compelling and illustrative manner to support key stakeholder decision making.
- Leads the planning and execution of the annual or off-cycle compensation planning processes. Performs analysis such as comp ratios and cost impact analysis to evaluate overall impact of proposals. Works with HR Business Partners (HRBP) and the business to ensure seamless processing in implementing compensation changes.
- Performs compensation bench-marking studies.
- Performs analysis of compensation programs or related projects which support RI’s compensation strategy. This may include calculating costs and/or value of compensation programs such as base salary structures, Short Term Incentive (STI) and Long-Term Incentive (LTI) analysis. Uses creativity and compensation best practices to design pay programs to meet the needs of the business,
- Manage all related statutory compliances and track regulatory changes such as minimum wages, pay ratio and pay equity, ensuing compliance with all federal, state, and local compensation laws and regulations. Provides advice and guidance to business stakeholders and HRBPs on pay decisions, policy interpretation and job evaluations.
- Lead complex special projects including implementations of new programs, closing of programs, etc.
- Understands and adheres to RI International compliance standards as they appear in the Code of Conduct and Conflict of Interest Policies.
- Keeps abreast of all federal and state regulations and laws and all RI International policies as they presently exist and as they change or are modified.
- Performs other related duties assigned.

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience in compensation field.
- Knowledge of laws and regulations as they apply to base compensation and incentive compensation programs, company policies, and operations.
- 1 year or more of project management experience.
- Advance knowledge of Excel including lookups, formulas, and pivot tables.
- Strong expertise in building relationships leadership and supporting departments.
- Experience in enterprise related HRIS Systems (ADP or equivalent) and market/salary survey software.
- Experience with Microsoft Office suite, particularly in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Detailed oriented, reliable, and able to multi-task in a fast-paced, high-volume work environment.
- Must have a valid driver license and be 18 years of age.
- Must have the ability to walk, climb, stoop, reach, crawl, crouch, kneel, push, pull and lift a minimum of 20lbs.
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication, with particular emphasis during telephone calls, follow-ups, and in-person correspondence.
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality (HIPAA guidelines and regulations) and professionalism.
