What you will do as a successful Director of Compensation
Collaborate with HR leadership and domain leads to design, implement, and oversee the administration of compensation related programs and policies for the organization
Lead annual companywide market analysis to determine competitive positioning of pay programs, including base pay, short-term incentive pay, and sales incentive pay
Lead the year end compensation planning process (i.e. merit and short-term incentive planning, performance management process, annual statement generation and distribution, companywide communication rollout, etc.)
Design and implement market aligned salary structure and lead annual review to ensure external competitiveness
Provide counsel to HR Business Partner’s and Talent Acquisition on compensation issues related to recruiting and candidate offers, as well as employee promotion, recognition, and retention actions
Advise on compensation and reporting tools and automation opportunities/vendors
Maintain a working knowledge of federal, state and local legislation that may affect compensation policies including minimum wage regulations for all geographic areas with MSG operations
Lead and direct the work of team members; responsible for selecting, developing, and evaluating performance ensuring business objectives are met

What do you need to succeed?

    • Thought leader to evolve and innovate compensation
    • 6+ years related professional experience, including managing compensation programs
    • LTI / Equity Plans experience with private companies/LLCs and/or public companies
    • Strong MS Excel skills – Aptitude for mathematics, data reporting and analysis
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Strong attention to detail
    • Ability to work independently and well under pressure in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment
    • Collaborative team player; ability to work in cross-functional teams
    • Ability to work with all levels of the organization

$165,000 – $185,000 a year
The anticipated gross salary range for this position is $165,000-$185,000 per year. Actual compensation will vary depending on factors such as a candidate’s qualifications, skills, experience, and competencies. Base annual salary is one component of StubHub’s total compensation and competitive benefits package, which includes equity, 401(k), paid time off, paid parental leave, and comprehensive health benefits
